Devona Williams is the controller for the Stupski Foundation. She is responsible for implementing the Foundation’s financial, grants, and operational functions. Devona began her work at the Foundation as the accounting and grants associate supporting the organization’s financial operations.
Devona brings over 15 years of accounting experience to Stupski. Previously, she was the accounting manager for Hubb Systems, a public safety company based in Alameda, California, where she managed many aspects of the business’ operations for over a decade, including handling the daily accounts payable and accounts receivable (A/P and A/R) operations, managing asset-based LOC, preparing monthly sales tax reports, assisting with audits, as well as taking care of myriad other duties. When the company was sold, she became the bookkeeper and operations specialist for a private Italian wine importer, Vinity Wine Company, where she fell in love with Italian Wine. She had the pleasure of meeting wine and spirits producers from most regions of Italy. In addition to hospitality responsibilities, Devona managed monthly import and export tax returns, international wire transactions, and daily operations of A/P and A/R, as well as ensured wine orders were delivered to restaurants and retailers across the state of California.
She joined Stupski in June 2020 and is continuing her education in business administration. In her spare time, Devona is a devoted mother and loves spending time with family.
