We Grow Together

This year has tested our communities, from political upheaval to attacks on our communities and economic uncertainty. The administration’s ongoing disruption of key safety net programs, like SNAP, has left millions of Americans grappling with food insecurity, with cascading effects on food banks, community organizations, and food and farm workers. In challenging times, grassroots voices are even more vital to chart the way forward. In this video blog, we’ll hear from four Bay Area food system leaders whose intersecting work is rooted in land and community. Their stories urge us to consider: what could it look like if the well-being of people and planet came first? What does it take to resource this shared vision?

We are grateful for the steady and visionary leadership of community leaders like Ali Anderson, Jeneba Kilgore, Kelly D. Carlisle, and Adrionna Fike. Learn more and support their organizations below.
