Glen Galaich named one of TIME100’s most influential people in philanthropy
We have exciting news to share. TIME just named our CEO, Glen Galaich, one of the most influential people in philanthropy for 2026 — an honor we’re happy to celebrate with you, our partners, as we work together to rebalance power and return resources to communities.
Glen has long asked all of us in philanthropy to examine whether we’re truly living up to our promises to communities. This year, he got candid in his debut book, CONTROL: Why Big Giving Falls Short. In it, he shares our journey at Stupski—where we’ve fallen short, the lessons we had to unlearn to shift and share control, and why we believe foundations should return all their resources (not just the legally required 5% minimum) to the communities closest to the solutions. That kind of candor and vulnerability is rare in philanthropy, and we’re glad to see him recognized for it. It’s exactly the kind of leadership we need to change big giving for good.
Join us in congratulating Glen, and check out the full list of honorees below.
